Urban Quarter
On the site of the former Wilmersdorf freight station in Berlin-Friedenau, the new urban quarter “Friedenauer Höhe” is being built, currently one of Berlin’s largest residential construction projects, realised by a joint venture of Instone Real Estate and OFB Projektentwicklung GmbH.
In September 2021, the foundation stone was laid for the first of a total of 2 construction phases.
AUKETT + HEESE have been appointed by Instone Real Estate Development GmbH to provide architectural planning services for the new urban quarter, based on the approval planning by Tchoban Voss Architekten.
A residential complex is planned, divided into three sections, each with two detached five-storey buildings and a total of 396 rental apartments (132 apartments per phase). The six buildings are connected by an underground car park, with attractive green spaces and play areas in between.
