The Westin Hamburg, Elbphilharmonie, 2016
Hotel
The design for the Hamburg Philharmonic Hall was conceived by the architects Herzog & de Meuron, who are collaborating with Höhler+Partner as general planners.
On the East side facing HafenCity a luxurious 5 star hotel is planned with 244 rooms, as well as Conference and Wellness areas in the old warehouse building. The hotel rooms offer a view at HafenCity, the largest inner city development in Europe. The design of the hotel Westin inside the Elbphilharmonie is based on a design by MRLV Architects, the design of the interior from bost berlin.
AUKETT + HEESE were appointed by HOCHTIEF Construction for the second phase of the working drawings package for the Hotel, Catering facilities, Wellness facilities and a conference area. In addition AUKETT + HEESE supported Hochtief/ Herzog & de Meuron with detailed solutions in the Elbphilharmonie itself in both the base and new building.
