„Kalle Neukölln“

AUKETT + HEESE are appointed by K101 GmbH through Maruhn Real Estate Investment GmbH (MREI) to provide the design and working drawing packages for the “Kalle Neukölln” building project.

The building structure, consisting of a former department store on Karl-Marx-Strasse and an above ground garage facing Donaustraße, is being revitalised. A key design principle here is the preservation of the existing shell-and-core.
A mixture of retail and food market will be developed with 10,000 m² – combined with attractive recreation areas – in the basement, ground floor and attic. Office use with 26,000 m² GFA are planned for the upper floors of both buildings, as well as a 4,000 m² roof garden with public facilities and a view of the city.

The concept design comes from the client himself. The facades are designed and planned by Max Dudler Architect.
