AUKETT + HEESE is preparing construction documents on behalf of the client SIGNA Group for the highrise project “Hochhaus am Warenhaus” (GALERIA) Berlin Alexanderplatz, aka MYND.
The design and permitting process was carried out by Kleihues + Kleihues architects. The buildings will be located partly on the site of the department store at Alexanderplatz, which will be partly built back for this purpose. As a result, the building needs to be adjusted in terms of its technical aspects to suit the superstructure.
MYND is an efficient and sustainable building (Leed & Well certified). With a height of 134 m and 33 floors it offers attractive office spaces, and also provides areas for public use. The first two floors of the city block building contain retail spaces that will be added to the existing department store.
