Office Tower
AUKETT + HEESE is preparing construction documents on behalf of the global Assetmanager Commerz Real for the highrise project “Bürohochhaus am Alex”.
The design and permitting process was carried out by Kleihues + Kleihues architects. The buildings will be located partly on the site of the department store at Alexanderplatz, which will be partly built back for this purpose. As a result, the building needs to be adjusted in terms of its technical aspects to suit the superstructure.
The office tower is an efficient and sustainable building (Leed & Well certified). With a height of 134 m and 33 floors it offers attractive office spaces, and also provides areas for public use. The first two floors of the city block building contain retail spaces that will be added to the existing department store.
