Gropius Passagen, 2019

AUKETT + HEESE were appointed by mfi Development to provide architectural services from preliminary design to working drawings for the modernisation of the Gropius Passagen mall in Neukölln, Berlin. The space previously occupied by a Woolworth store has been refurbished and converted into a new fashion-mall with new shops. The opening of this 1st Phase, totaling around 10,000 sq.m., was on 4. Dezember 2015.

Phase 2 was the modernization of the remaining areas of the Gropius Passagen, a total area of around 80,000 sq.m.

The designs are based on a concept by Saguez and Partners, Paris.
