Boulevard Berlin, 2012

The first construction phase was the redevelopment and modernisation of the Karstadt Department store, for which  AUKETT + HEESE were appointed by Ortner&Ortner Baukunst and for Multi Development und Heine Bau. Karstadt opened in April 2009.

AUKETT + HEESE were appointed by ARGE BAM Deutschland and Max Bögl for the complete detailed design and working drawings for Boulevard Berlin‘s second construction phase; the new build shopping centre. Boulevard Berlin offers approx. 76,000 sq.m. lettable space in approx. 160 rental units for retail and restaurants and has approx. 130,000 sq.m gross area. In addition ca. 850 parking spaces are available for customers. The detailed design and working drawings are based on a design by T+T Design, Gouda and Ortner & Ortner Baukunst, Berlin.
