AUKETT + HEESE are the architects for the tenant fit-out of Universal Music’s new Berlin Headquarters in a listed heritage building which was formerly a cold-storage warehouse.
Universal Music‘s new location is situated adjacent to the „Oberbaum“-bridge over the river Spree east of the city centre. The building houses over 500 people in 9 levels with a total area of approx. 17.000 sq.m.
The different operating companies and record-labels within Universal Music appointed Designers to develop individual concept designs.

In addition the building has a restaurant, a club, a sound studio, a kindergarten, a travel agency, hair salon and advertising agency etc. AUKETT + HEESE were appointed to coordinate these individual designs into a coherent design package, which was developed into a production information package of specifications and working drawings, and followed by full site supervision.
