M&M’S Store Berlin, 2021

Berlins M&M’S store is located in a central location on the Kurfürsten Damm near Breitscheidplatz. The colourful shop design combines the well-known product identity with local elements and was developed together with the designer Fitch (New York).

Architecturally, two air spaces and three floors connect the 3,000 sqm. Behind the classic facade, the distinctive company logo hovers in space and offers exciting views in and out. In the centre of the sales area is a wide steel spiral staircase that winds around a cylindrical glass lift. The staircase hangs on 150 steel rods from the ceiling and is painted in the distinctive product colours.

The colour scheme is defined by the cheerful colours of the popular chocolate candy. Round shapes and a playful design reflect the M&M’S product world in the interior design.

The Berlin M&M’S store joins the other locations in New York, London, Shanghai, Minneapolis, Orlando and Las Vegas. It has its own Berlin flair with an underground station, a virtual Späti, the Mauerpark and a piece of the East Side Gallery, which visitors can virtually design themselves. In addition to the well-known range of M&M’S® brand confectionery, it also offers exclusive items such as clothing, jewellery and stationery related to M&M’S chocolate.

On a chocolate wall, customers can put together their personal mix of 189 colours. Customers can have the colourful chocolate candy printed live with their own motifs, including their own portrait.

On the top floor, a café with a roof terrace and karaoke stage invites guests to relax.
